Fall 2011 Trends

With the fall 2011 fashion week shows coming to an end what better time to round up the top trends to look forward to seeing this upcoming fall season. Six months from now, the looks at the top of my list include geometric prints in various color palettes, sheer fabric dresses, and of course all black outfits, a personal favorite that will always work on those days when there is "nothing to wear".

Starting with geometric prints, the looks I favor include beautiful coats and dresses from Hermes, velour print dress and blue green orange pants from Proenza Shouler and last but not least a light colored look from Rodarte






When it comes to sheer dressing, Rodarte, continuing with their Fall 2011 collection created a light colored sheer skirt worn over similar toned fabric with black contrast details to complete a layered look. Stella McCartney did all black and polka dots for her sheer tops and dresses, creating a fun look with a bit of sass involved .




All black everything. Looks ranging from an all leather get up from Hermes to a silky satin pant and blouse look from Stella McCartney. Rick Owens created a short sleeved fur vest over a comfortable looking black ensemble and Ports 1961 paired sheer socks and a black coat dress for a polished look. You really can't go wrong when you're wearing all black.
